TZY CO PTE. LTD. (UEN 202208257R) is committed to protecting the personal data of individuals who interact with us through this website. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it, and your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

This notice applies to personal data collected through tzyco.com, including the contact form, callback request, and product enquiry forms on this website.

1. Who we are

TZY CO PTE. LTD. is registered as a general insurance corporate agency in Singapore (UEN 202208257R). We hold a General Insurance Agency registration with the General Insurance Association of Singapore. Our registered address is in Singapore. We may be contacted at hello@tzyco.com or +65 9177 8881.

2. What personal data we collect

When you submit a form on this website, we collect the personal data you provide, which may include: your name, your company name, your email address, your telephone or mobile number, the nature of your enquiry or insurance interest, and any additional information you include in your message.

We collect only the personal data you choose to provide. You are not required to submit any form on this website.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

We collect your personal data for the following purposes: to respond to your enquiry or request for information; to provide insurance advisory services where you have requested them; to follow up on an enquiry or quotation request; and to contact you regarding your insurance arrangements where you are or become a client of TZY CO.

We do not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. Where we contact you by telephone or SMS following an enquiry, we comply with the Do Not Call Registry provisions of the PDPA.

4. How your data is received and stored

When you submit a form on this website, your personal data is transmitted to us by email and, where you have chosen to use the WhatsApp option, through WhatsApp. Your data is held in:

  • Email: correspondence is received and stored in Gmail, operated by Google LLC. Google’s own privacy policy governs how Gmail data is stored and processed.
  • WhatsApp: messages are received and stored through WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms Inc. Meta’s own privacy policy governs how WhatsApp data is stored and processed.
  • Our client management records: where an insurance advisory relationship is established, your data may be recorded in our internal records and entered into the portals of our appointed insurers for the purpose of obtaining quotations, binding cover, or administering your policy.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to the following:

  • Insurance-related correspondence: retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with applicable regulatory and record-keeping requirements.
  • General enquiries not resulting in an insurance transaction: retained for up to 1 year, after which correspondence is archived.
  • Archived correspondence: held securely within Gmail and WhatsApp infrastructure and reviewed periodically.

You may request that we cease using your personal data by contacting us at hello@tzyco.com. Where regulatory retention requirements apply, we may be required to retain certain records for a specified period.

6. Who we may share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following circumstances: where you have requested a quotation or policy, we share the information necessary to obtain terms or place cover with our appointed insurers; and where we are required to disclose personal data by law, regulation, or a lawful order of a competent authority.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, and we do not sell or rent your data.

7. Cookies and third-party services

This website uses a limited number of third-party services that may load scripts or set cookies in your browser. This website displays Google reviews through Elfsight (Elfsight Apps Limited). When the reviews section loads, Elfsight’s platform script runs in your browser and may set cookies or use local storage to render the widget. Elfsight’s own privacy policy governs the data it collects.

This website does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking or advertising technology.

8. Your rights under the PDPA

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access); request that we correct any inaccurate personal data we hold about you (correction); and withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice (withdrawal of consent).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our data protection officer at hello@tzyco.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days in accordance with the PDPA. For more information about your rights under the PDPA, you may refer to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.
